December in Wimbledon Village brings plenty of reasons to settle into the pub. Maybe it’s that long-overdue catch-up with old friends, the annual Christmas party or getting the whole family together for a button-popping Christmas Day lunch. Sunday Roasts in Wimbledon Village

A walk around Wimbledon Village, the dog happily worn out and the whole family gathered around the table. Sundays don’t need to be complicated (although an enormous roast certainly helps).

Join us at our dog-friendly Wimbledon Village pub for a long Sunday lunch, starting with a Bloody Mary made with Pickle House tomato mix and Absolute Tabasco. Settle in for one of our Sunday roasts, order another glass of red and make some memories around the table.

Guests with 4 paws are most welcome. Up to two pups can stay with you (in one of our dog-friendly bedrooms) for an additional £25 per night. Your pup will get a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

3 night stay in Wimbledon Village

Great place to stay in the middle of Wimbledon village. The Rooms are of decent size and have all needed for overnight or several days. They have not missed out a thing, right down to home made shortbread along with espresso machine, kettle, a basket of snacks, plenty of bathroom amenities, although bring your own dressing gown. Breakfasts are great with super service (Sam gets a special mention for her lovely smile and helpfulness)

Absolutely amazing place to stay, fantastic location – boutique rooms with some lovely touches homemade cookies, milk, nespresso machine, enormous fluffy towels, postcards, super king bed – plus spotlessly clean – could not fault a thing. Best pub in Wimbledon. Hands down.

We visited our favourite place in Wimbledon – the Rose and Crown. The service is always impeccable. We were so impressed with Maria our server. She took our photos, was on hand whenever we needed her and made sure that every aspect of our anniversary dinner was perfect. The fish was sublime; the food was just perfect. The kitchen accommodated our request to change the bread even though it was off menu. The manager did everything possible to make us feel welcome and special. We had a brilliant time. Our only regret is that we didn’t book to stay the night 🙂

Easily a top 3 roast in London! Food was amazing, and the service was extremely good. Especially considering all the awkward guests trying to steal tables for the Euros and the waitresses having to keep them at bay. Would highly recommend a visit. Special shout out to Martha and Margot!

Fabulous stay in Wimbledon

Stayed here for 3 nights while attending the tennis championship for the 1st time. Room and accommodation was excellent. Staff friendly and delicious breakfasts. Lively atmosphere in the pub at night but great to be in the heart of Wimbledon for the tennis-they really go all in for it! Hopefully will be lucky with tickets for next year and would love to return.

Had an amazing experience for our wedding party!!

We had our wedding around 20 minutes away from the Rose and Crown and decided to take on the whole accommodation. Katie, Faye and the team did an exceptional job accommodating us through the organisation pre arrival through to the operational aspects trying to feed 22 hungry mouths!! Overall Faye and her team created a stress free experience and to top it all off the Comfy Feature was a gorgeous room! Very spacious to allow my Wife to get ready ahead of the wedding but also an ideal ‘bridal/honeymoon suite’ for those looking for a more special room! Thanks Faye and all the team that made our stay so special!

My First Trip to London

This was my first trip to London and I am so glad that I chose to stay at the Rose and Crown in Wimbledon. First of all, Wimbledon village is very charming and the Rose and Crown only adds to the charm. I loved everything about my stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable with excellent amenities down to the details of lovely floral soaps, a curated snack basket, and delicious teas to enjoy. The food at the restaurant was incredible! I didn’t venture out much because I wanted to keep trying different things on the menu at the pub, it was all excellent. One of my favorite parts was getting to know the friendly staff and pub dog, Fred. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in London!
