Christmas Carols with St Mary's Choir

Join St. Mary's Parish Carol Singers starting at 6:30pm! Enjoy festive music, mulled wine as the community comes together to sing classic Christmas carols next to a roaring fire. It’s a way to celebrate the season with family, friends, and neighbors.

Boxing Day 24

What a tree-mendous day we had yesterday! But don't fret- Boxing Day is still to shout about here at the Rose, so pop in for a hearty meal, and a healthy glass of wine, or even choose from our huge mocktails selection! Booking recommended for food but if you're going for a Boxing Day stroll on the common, please do pop in to say hi at our walk in areas!
New Years Eve 2024

We have the best New Year's plans in the village, featuring our chefs' spectacular specials. Our dining tables may be fully booked but there's plenty of space for walk-ins in the bar where you can dance the night away with a live band from 9.30pm. Arrive before 9pm for free entry and don't miss any of the action!

Christmas in the Village 2024
Sunday 1st December
12:00pm - 7:00pm
It's beginning to feel a lot like... Christmas ! Join us with our petting zoo in the garden from 11:30-3, then spot the horses and Santa Claus in the village, onto the Christmas tree light ceremony at 5pm, with mulled wine and mince pies homemade from us, back at the Rose for Carole sing a longs and some live music from the Pravha Band!

Join us for a festive celebration of creativity and holiday spirit!
Whether you’re rocking a classic knit with reindeer and snowflakes or a quirky light-up masterpiece, we want to see your best Christmas jumpers!
